21 May Tricks to clean the bathroom in less than five minutes
It is clear that the bathroom is one of the parts of the house that we always want to be shiny. And it is that some stained tiles, a dirty toilet, or a bathtub full of the soap residue are not a very pleasant image, especially when we have guests at home.
But since the bathroom is one of the parts of the house in which more germs accumulate, its cleaning must be conscientious. Something that if we do not have much time can become a real nuisance. For that reason, here we propose a series of tricks that will help you clean the bathroom in a short time and without effort.
Have a suitable set of utensils on hand
To save as much time as possible in cleaning the bathroom, you must always have the right utensils and producers at hand. In this case, we will use homemade mixtures, which are cheaper and less polluting. If you have the mixtures prepared in spray bottles, you will save time, and cleaning the bathroom will be much easier.
Tiles
To make the bathroom tiles look new, just mix vinegar and water in equal parts, put them in a spray can, and spray the mixture on them. Then you will only have to let it act for a couple of minutes while you clean something else and remove the remains with a cloth to make the moisture stains disappear.
Another part of the bathroom that accumulates the most dirt that we usually overlook is the tile joints. Although leaving them as new requires a little more effort, it will be enough to rub them with a brush soaked in a solution of bleach and baking soda.
The shower, the bathtub, and the sink
While you leave the vinegar mixture on the tiles to work, try applying a solution of baking soda and lemon juice or vinegar with water to the shower, bathtub, sink, and bidet with a cloth. This way you will quickly remove stains from the water level and dirt.
You can also place paper napkins soaked in the mixture on the stains, let them act for a couple of minutes, and then remove them.
Toilet
This part of the bathroom is the one we use the most, so we should always try to keep it clean and free of bad odors. However, due to the accumulation of germs, moisture, and other substances that come into contact with its surface, it is common to have tartar stains. To remove them, it is advisable to use a metal sponge and alcohol or hot vinegar.
For stains that form on the bottom, try a cola drink. Pull the chain first, dump half a can of glue and stir with a brush. You will see how the next time you flush the chain, the stains will have disappeared. Mirrors
The best way to clean splash stains on bathroom mirrors is to spray a mixture of vinegar diluted in water, or failing that, a solution of ammonia, alcohol, and water. If you don’t want to scratch the mirror, try cleaning it with a newspaper.
You can apply this same solution to the shower screen with a spray. Rub it with a damp cloth and you will see how limescale stains and other dirt disappear. For a perfect result, polish the screen with a dry cloth.
